Can be done digitally but you need an old digital camera and a bit of tweaking with filters etc, alternatively just try a red filter it will make the blue darker and to some extent the green.momemts in timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14723725230232311583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201418143856511846.post-15606460199492673922009-09-03T03:27:07.556-04:002009-09-03T03:27:07.556-04:00A friend of mine is coding some HDR algorithms for...A friend of mine is coding some HDR algorithms for fun (he's a world expert on error correcting codes at JPL) and some day... some day I will test drive his software ;) I'll let you know if it ever happens. I think this photograph is fantastic for the symmetry and the structure and the way it leads the eye. Would be neat if you camped out nearby (not sure if that's possible) and did a nighttime exposure for extra creepiness! Gold mine here. Sometimes I like creepy. One thing that is interesting. Click on the image. This should open up a higher resolution of the image. Look on the lower right side. It looks like a doll, or a face looking at the camera. I'm not sure what it was, but it's interesting.Gallowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01411525692992307611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1201418143856511846.post-89679072216281544772009-08-25T08:52:31.961-04:002009-08-25T08:52:31.961-04:00It does indeed look like a tunnel. Photoshop will do HDR, but is not very good at it. I have used a program called Photomatrix which is better. In this case I would play a bit around with the saturation and luminosity for the green and yellow colours in RAW-converter. Maybe that will increase the contrast a bit. Fist suggestion is darker green and lighter yellow.<br /><br />PS Thank you for the comment - photo is actually spelt "foto" in Norwegian...Rune Eidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01008247272056395901noreply@blogger.com
