Week 44, Day 305, February 26, 2010, Snow Curve

I loved the simple line that the snow drift created near and around the tree.

Today was another snow day.  I like snow days.  Everybody has to tell the story of how they did or didn't get to work.  There's an excitement in the air as people are knocked out of their routines.

Lessons Learned:
  • Simplicity wins again.  Many of the great photos are very simple.
Photo details: Exposure time 1/320 sec, Aperture f/6.3, ISO 100, Focal Length 40 mm, Lens Canon EF 17-40mm, handheld.

I like it! I love seeing pristine snow and the lines the wind carves into it.

(Glad you figured out I'm not Yolanda, lol. Thanks for the compliment, though!)

I like the contrast, and the line looks really cool and natural.

You are very right about finding the simplicity in our surroundings. This is well done.

I still struggle with getting enough simplicity - this one was very well done.

For me I think that it's difficult to see simplicity. I feel lucky to have seen this one. I think that's part of the attraction of macros. They seem to have a lot of simple elements that make for great photos.

I like the simplicity too. I found it amusing to find this picture, as it looks like a mirror image of this one I shot a little over a month ago.
