With this blog I have begun a journey to improve my photography skills. My goal is to take photos everyday, and post my favorite photo from that day on this blog. So far, I have learned a lot, and try to share my experiences. Many of you have made comments on the blog, via email, or when you see me in person. I really appreciate all of them. I learn a lot from each of you. I hope that you will join me in my journey, and help me along the way. I have so much to learn.

Week 44, Day 307, February 28, 2010, Snow Strokes

I'm just going to put this photo up without saying what I like about it. We're at the tail end of a snow storm, so the snow has been spectacular.

Lessons Learned:

Photography helps me to discover new areas very close to where I live. This one is only about 5 miles from where I live, but I had never been here before.

Photo details: Exposure time 1/50 sec, Aperture f/20.0, ISO 100, Focal Length 100 mm, Lens Canon 70-200mm f2.8L USM, tripod.

Nicki said...: Love it, Steve. I saw nature like this last Wed as I headed to Ithaca on 79 for a client meeting. Then, I headed back over yesterday. Actually stopped at a TCAT turn around and took some shots similar. Will have to get them up so you can look at them.; March 1, 2010 at 6:34 AM
