Lessons Learned:
- I remembered to set the White Balance to flash for warmer colors. I like the effect it has on Sunrises and Sunsets.
- The light changes very quickly during a sunrise, and gives interesting effects.
With this blog I have begun a journey to improve my photography skills. My goal is to take photos everyday, and post my favorite photo from that day on this blog. So far, I have learned a lot, and try to share my experiences. Many of you have made comments on the blog, via email, or when you see me in person. I really appreciate all of them. I learn a lot from each of you. I hope that you will join me in my journey, and help me along the way. I have so much to learn.

Beautiful!
This is a winner!! I love the larger rocks in the foreground and it leads you right into that sunrise! Great depth and perspective!
Wow. Stunning shot! Excellent job!
goodness, and you're lucky the weather is so nice this week!
I appreciate the difficulty in metering sunrise scenes because properly exposing the bright sky can wash out the darkened foreground.
Here, however, you've balanced the two divergent zones masterfully. Love the feel of the foreground.
Beautiful scenery, great photo
