We live in an old farm house, and we have lady bugs. It seems that they have entered many homes in our areas. It's interesting to read the response of different people on the web concerning them. Personally, I kind of like them. They have great colors.
In this photo the lady bug is on top of out claw tub. A tree is begin reflected on the side of the tub, and the window is being reflected on the lady bug. Hmm perhaps I should enter this in the Weekend Reflections meme.
For those of you keeping track. Yesterday was a return trip to the specialist. Another sick day for me. I'm on the mend, and hope that it holds this time.

Neat image. It does contrast the color and small size the the ladybug. We get the occasional lady in our house. We capture her and set her free outside.
Hope you're feeling better!
I like the shot.
Ladybugs are good when they eat aphids and other garden pests and bad when they bite me in the ear. Two different species, actually - it's the Japanese Lady Beetles that are the nasty biters. For chemical-free gardens and trees, you can't beat a swarm of ladybugs to keep the pests away, though!
Looks great! this might be one of those shots that would benefit from a significant saturation boost.
Intriguing shot!

Oh lovely! Wonderful subdued reflection and that lovely, sweet ladybug!
Many friends here had a ton of lady bugs outside in the late summer/fall. Now they are inside. People don't like them but I can't figure out why.
Hope you are feeling better. We miss you at Happy Hour. My mother - who lives in the desert in SoCal - has started to swear by a Neti Pot. I think it is bit weird but ...
I think this was a very nice one. Fine DOF. Congratulations with getting the ladybug to sit quietly for 1/5 of a second :-)
Sad to hear about your illness. I hope they can work it out. Best wishes.
