Lessons Learned:
- I can use a fairly high ISO with black and white photography. Black and White photography seems to work great in low light situations. Castaways was very dark for photography.
Photo details: Exposure time 1/60 sec, Aperture f/2.8, ISO 6400, Focal Length 200 mm, Lens Canon 70-200mm f2.8L USM, hand held.

rock on Stevo :)
i think you really got the feel of playing music. and it's not such a crazy action shot, so the task of capturing becomes more of a challenge - so good job man!
Ohh Yes! Great picture Steve!
Have a good weekend:)
The shot has worked really well and the high ISO has still retained a lot of detail.
wow, it's a great capture :)
What a great image!
ISO 6400? wow
Yeah, Steve - great shot with a high ISO. I really like the strong contrast, the reflection off his glasses, and the light coming low from the front. Perfect!
Thanks for the info. I did not know b&w worked well in low light. Never tried it. I love people like you (an me) who include the data. It helps us all learn from each other. I think I shall return.

Excellent result. This makes an excellent portrait.
I like that black background and how light shines in glasses!
Nice, crisp photo.
