No, I'm not a Peeping Tom. I wonder if people named Tom take offense to that saying. My son knew I was going to take photos of him through the old shop window while he did some wood working.
I'm not sure if this shot works. I like the angle, and having the window in the foreground. I can see the outline of the window, but it's not very pronounced. I think a little light on the window would have a better effect. I also think that I should have my son move closer to the window. I may play around with this setup some more. Probably without my son, so I won't drive him crazy. Then when I have it the way I like it I'll ask him to come back. You may see this one again.
Lessons Learned:
- I also find that the more photos I take, the more particular I become. I think this has a plus side, and a negative side. On the plus side, I'm thinking more about my shots and the subject matter. I'm starting to recall my previous photos and what works, and what doesn't work. On the negative side, it's easier to become disappointed, and frustrated with the process.

This photo has piqued my interest (and not just because stinky kyle is in it :)). I think I would change a few things:
1. The photo might be more interesting if the window wasn't so centered, or maybe if the frame wasn't quite complete.
2. The glare of the light above kyle's head is distracting me.
I do really like the soft glow in the shop, as well as the interesting pattern made by the arc of darkness along the left and bottom of the shop.

I also thought about your comments concerning the window. Before I published this photo, I did try several crops with a partial window, or having it off center. Of the photos that I took, it didn't seem to work. I do think that if I had more light on the window/outside wall it might work. I'll give that a try when I attempt to retake the photo. (If Kyle will let me.)

I think that this is an excellent shot. I can't help but think of Norman Rockwell, with the colors inside Kyles shop. It all looks very natural.
I like the composition here. The photo tells a story, and it makes me want to look closer.
I like the comments that I'm getting on this one. They're giving me more ideas...
Kyle was a really good sport to allow me to take these photographs. Many people do not like having their photos taken. I think it's a real shame because people are so cool to look at. There are so many different looks, and expressions.
